This file is for making a working cuckoo style clock. There are traditional engravings on the front, both sides, and roof pieces. Included in the file are several trim options to choose from, and some cute little extras you can use if desired. There are so many ways you can finish and assemble this clock! 

The face of the clock has a 0.32" hole to insert the shaft of clock movement (not included, the clock movement must be purchased separately). Be sure to purchase a mechanism with short hands, ideally 2" or shorter. The opening in the back is to allow easy access to install the clock movement and to change the battery and/or adjust time.

Please note that the pendulum and "weight" are decorative only and do not move. If you choose to attach them, there are two slots in the bottom piece to insert and glue to the inside of the back piece. Assembly instructions are included with the files. 

You will receive:
a zip file of these 4 formats - SVG, DXF, PNG, and EPS, and a JPG image of helpful instructions
(These files have been designed and tested using Inkscape and Adobe Illustrator. I have not tested with Lightburn, but it should work well because the engravings are all objects and do not use stroke/line width.)

The samples pictured were laser engraved and cut using 3mm (1/8”) birch wood. The tabs are designed to fit only with 3mm wood. The finished size is approximately 7" at the tallest point, 6" wide, and 3" deep. The pendulum and "weight" hang down approximately 3".

You may make and sell as many physical items as you like. Do not resell, alter, or otherwise sell the digital file in any form.
